Our extract is available with either whole vanilla beans or split-beans.

Split- Beans expose the inside of the beans to create a darker and richer flavor much quicker than a whole bean.

Whole beans- The integrity of the bean is preserved for you to reuse the bean in another form- such as vanilla sugar!

In both products you receive the same quantity of Gourmet - Grade A- Madagascar - Bourbon - Organic - Vanilla Beans
You may top off the finished extract with vodka as you use it. You may keep topping off the extract until it begins to loose color, flavor, or aroma. That’s the beauty of having the vanilla bean included within the extract-you become your own self-sufficient source of pure vanilla extract. With the reusable swing top bottle that's included in your purchase, next time you may only want to buy the Grade A Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla beans, also available on our website, and make your own from scratch. I would recommend purchasing the vanilla extract as a whole bean rather than split bean if you would like to reuse the Vanilla beans to make vanilla sugar.
